The World Communion of Reformed Churches is comprised of 100 million Christians in Congregational, Presbyterian, Reformed, United, Uniting and Waldensian churches. After a long journey, the NHKA was readmitted into the WCRC this last May, having been suspended by WARC over 30 years ago due to its stance on apartheid. For many in the Christian Reformed Church, it was an intensely busy time. I was able to attend only the first half, and I was not a delegate, just an accredited “observer” for the Reformed Church in America (RCA).
