The wide-rimmed plates have a smaller eating surface than other plates of a similar diameter, and they look like something you’d see at a fine-dining restaurant. Each piece of the West Elm set has subtle shape differences, making for a little more interesting look, and the Williams-Sonoma set’s patterned edge gives it a little more modern look.
